In the season one finale of A Good Return, Ni’Kesia and Dr. Corey close things out with a bang! After sharing their good returns for the last week of 2020 (3:05), they both share what their favorite episode of the season has been and why (11:30). Diving straight into this week’s topic (15:09)—”Peace In Imperfection”—the duo explain how the constant search for perfection has impacted their lives and created a detrimental effect on their relationships with themselves and others.
As the turn of a new year can cause everyone to reflect on all they did and didn’t do (and with 2020 being the year that didn’t go the way any of us had planned), it’s important to remember that what you may view as an imperfection, God could have actually made a gift in you to touch those around you.
Seeds to sow from this episode: Embrace your imperfections; Remember that God calls the ill-equipped.
