About A Good Return

The Hosts

Ni'Kesia Pannell

Ni’Kesia Pannell is an entrepreneur, award-winning multi-hyphenate journalist, lifestyle expert, and is pretty much the BFF you’ve always wanted. Her bylines have appeared in some of your favorite outlets including ESSENCE, SELF, Allure, Business Insider, Woman’s Day, and more. She has held the titles of Assistant Editor, Managing Editor, and Editor-in-Chief for ThisIsRnB.com, and currently serves as the Weekend Editor for the food-centered site, Delish.com. She holds dual Bachelor degrees—in which she never uses—in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s in script writing from Full Sail University. The latter, however, she uses on occasion.

When she’s not writing or hosting this podcast, Ni’Kesia is working on her all-natural juice business—Peach State Drinks—or her nostalgia-focused brand, Fresh Like the ’90s. She is a founding member of “The Breakfast Crew”—the at-home karaoke group specializing in performing throwback hits. Though disputed, she served as the lead singer of “The Crew” (as they were often called for short) alongside Dr. Hamilton and Ni’Kesia’s younger brother, Don. The group has been on hiatus since 2005, but whispers of a comeback have been heard lately.

Dr. Corey L. Hamilton

Dr. Corey L. Hamilton is an experienced Managing Director with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education, non-profit, and corporate industries. Skilled in Creative Entrepreneurship, Leadership Development, International Relations, Higher Education, and Business Management, he is a strong business development professional with a Public Affairs focus in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Dr. Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Affairs from Ohio State University, an MBA in International Business from Salem University, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Management from St. Thomas University. So yes, he’s pretty much a rockstar and deserves all the respect on his name that one can give.

When he’s not working his doctoral credentials or co-hosting this podcast, Dr. Hamilton is expanding his entrepreneurial spirit through The Casual Cafe and his upcoming line of sauces, Angry Joe’s. He’s also a founding member of “The Breakfast Crew” alongside Ni’Kesia and her brother, Don. Dr. Hamilton—who then went by C-Ham and was the group’s lead choreographer and beat maker—left the group officially in 2002 to pursue higher education. As of 2005, the group has been on hiatus. There is word, however, that they might be making a comeback for a reunion tour.
